Preferred Pricing and EVA
For years, Draper has been Mid-Michigan's Choice for individuals that purchase new GM vehicles with GM Employee & Family Member discounts. Now - EVERYONE - especially those who never qualified before - get GM Supplier Pricing at Draper Chevrolet!
For GM Employees & Family Members qualifying for EVA, there are several rules. Here's the most FAQ answered for you:
How has the discount pricing changed?
The employee and supplier discount programs now share the same formula price called Preferred Pricing. Employees, retirees and eligible family members may be able to reduce this price further by deducting an exclusive new component called the Employee Vehicle Allowance (EVA). As in the past, you can also take advantage of most current incentives and available bonus cash.
What was the effective date for this change?
Preferred Pricing took effect January 5, 2010.
What is the Employee Vehicle Allowance (EVA)?
EVA gives you additional
savings on nearly every eligible, new GM vehicle. It will be reviewed
periodically and adjusted based on market conditions. View current EVA amounts
for each eligible vehicle.
What is the difference between bonus cash and EVA?
EVA is only available to
GM employees, retirees and their eligible family members. Bonus cash is
separate from EVA and may extend to other programs.
Can I combine EVA with other offers?
Yes, you can combine EVA with your Preferred Pricing, most current incentives and available bonus cash.
How can I find the current EVA?
You can view the current EVA amounts
for each eligible GM vehicle here.
Do EVA amounts vary by dealer?
No, EVA amounts took effect nationally and do not vary by dealer.
Which vehicles are eligible for EVA?
EVA is available on nearly every new and unused 2011 and 2012 GM passenger car, SUV, crossover and light-duty truck. From time to time, certain vehicles will not get EVA. The EVA amount varies on eligible vehicles.
Are family members eligible for EVA?
Yes, eligible GM
employees, retirees and their spouse, children, stepchildren,
grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, grandparents (including in-law and
step), parents, stepparents, siblings (including full, half and step),
mother-/father-in-law, sons-/daughters-in-law, brothers-/sisters-in-law
and same-sex domestic partners (SSDPs) where applicable are eligible to
receive EVA. (Note: Eligible SSDPs are treated the same as spouses, and
therefore, their eligible family members are also included.)
What is the difference between Preferred Pricing and Supplier for Friends?
Preferred Pricing and Supplier for Friends pricing share the same formula price; however, Supplier for Friends is not compatible with EVA.
Can I see Preferred Pricing on the dealer invoice?
Yes. Preferred Pricing
will appear as PREFER on the dealer invoices. However, EVA amounts are
not included. In order to view the current EVA amounts, please visit
gmfamilyfirst.com.
Does Preferred Pricing affect QRD (formerly known as PEP)?
No, QRD pricing will
remain the same. EVA is not compatible with QRD pricing. However, you
may continue to combine QRD pricing with most current incentives and
available bonus cash.
